    My name is Rachel DeVore, and I am an independent job consultant working on behalf of the State of California. I have several years of experience working in Human Resources for California State Service, so I'd like to share bits of information with you that I've learned along the way in order to be on your way to landing a State Job. 

    Looking for a job is a full time job, and it takes exceptionally hard work, dedication, and patience. Finding a job within California State Service, whether in NorCal or SoCal is no joke and is very competitive! Some people get hired on within a few months like myself, or it could take them a little bit longer. Believe me, there is a method to the madness in securing a California state job! But once you are locked into California State Service, success!
